Yourself:
1. Hat
2. sunscreen
3. lawn chair
4. optional recommended - Camera
For
Painting:
1. Optional: Portable Easel - Some artists are happy to work on their
lap
2. Palette (I use a piece of white cardboard plus wax paper & tape)
3. Spray bottle of water
4. Paint - Watercolour, Oil, or Acrylic, Note: for Acrylics the "Golden
Glazing Medium" that slows drying is recommended. See notes on Retreat
page for oils.
5. Brushes
6. Container for water
7. Paper or canvas, some larger (1/4 sheet wc or 16"x20" canvas)
and lots smaller (8"x10') for sketches
8. Paper towels or cloths, plus some small plastic garbage bags
9. Drawing implements, eraser, pencil sharpener
10. Sketch book, & paper & pen for notes.
11. Landscape
photo references to paint from.
12. Optional: box or small folding table to set water & paint on
13. Optional: clip on umbrella
